Tim Geenen
Co-Founder, CEO

Tim is an intrapreneur turned entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in digital Marketing & Advertising. Tim was the CEO and co-founder of Rayn, an audience intelligence company, leveraging GenAI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver the best campaigns.

Previously he was the co-founder of Faktor, a privacy technology platform for publishers and brands, acquired by LiveRamp (NYSE: RAMP), the global leader in data connectivity. At LiveRamp he was the Managing Director, Addressability Europe and before that he held other leadership roles at GroupM and Improve Digital, where he was responsible for strategy, innovation and partnerships.

Outside his high-level roles, Tim is an active angel investor, supporter of industry innovation and education. He serves as a board member for VIA/IAB Netherlands, he co-founded the first IAB Programmatic taskforce in Europe and launched the Programmatic Awards in the Netherlands.

Thijs is a media entrepreneur with expertise in digital advertising and business development. He honed his craft in the premium digital space at JustPremium before moving to ShowHeroes, where he served as Sales Manager. There, he became a trusted partner for advertisers and agencies, navigating the complexities of digital video distribution and driving growth in an ever-evolving market.

Beyond the media landscape, Thijs’s entrepreneurial spirit extends to a successful portfolio of vacation rentals. This venture showcases his hands-on approach to complex operations and his eye for premium client experiences. Driven by a passion for building from the ground up, Thijs partnered with Tim to launch Spektre.

Today, he leads the company’s commercial vision, blending industry foresight with a practical, results-oriented mindset.

Yes, to work our magic, we require access to your DSP. However, we typically only need read-access or specific API permissions to analyze historical data and current campaign setups. We do not disrupt your active campaigns or alter settings without your explicit approval.

Does Spektre process personal data?

No. Spektre operates with a privacy-first architecture. We strictly analyze campaign-level data and aggregate information regarding audience spend and performance metrics. We do not ingest, process, or store Personal Data or PII (Personally Identifiable Information), ensuring full compliance with GDPR and CCPA standards.

Do I need to worry about security and compliance?

Absolutely not. Security is the backbone of our infrastructure. We utilize enterprise-grade encryption and strictly adhere to industry-standard security protocols to protect your proprietary data. Your data is isolated, secure, and never shared with third parties.

How long does it take to see results?

We move fast. Once we have platform access, our proprietary scoring models immediately begin analyzing your data - often processing millions of rows. You will receive your initial inspection and actionable insights within 4 to 5 working days. Following that, we provide a weekly updated dashboard to track ongoing optimizations.

What if you don't find any improvements?

While theoretically possible, we haven’t seen it yet. Even the most sophisticated setups have inefficiencies. Typically, we identify improvement opportunities in the 10% to 30% range. If your campaigns are running perfectly, our inspection will serve as a valuable third-party validation of your excellence!
